What is TBG? The Teen Book Guild is a new volunteer opportunity perfect for teens who love to read and talk about YA books. Their purpose is to advocate for and spread that love of reading to other teens in the community.

What does TBG do?

  • Read and review new YA books
  • Help generate social media content to promote Winter Park Library’s YA books collection
  • Create thematic book lists and book displays, for both in the library and virtually
  • Consult with the Teen Librarian to improve the Library’s Book Box service
  • Serve as ambassadors to YA authors who visit the Library


When will TBG meet?

  • The Teen Book Guild will meet on the third Wednesday of the month from 5 – 6 p.m.
    THE FIRST MEETING FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2020.
  • Individual’s project work can be completed on their own preferred time.
