We're partnering with Publix for hands-on cooking classes! Feast on your culinary creation or take it home. Class meets at Publix, 440 N Orlando Ave, Winter Park.
April 24: Basic Knife Skills. Sharpen your skills while making tomato salsa, baked tortilla chips, vegetable broth, stir-fried chicken with vegetables, and Potage au Pistou.
May 22: Small Plates, Big Flavors. Appetizers galore! Ancho lime shrimp fritters with honey pepper jam, crab and Shiitake spring rolls with Daikon slaw and Ponzu, chili rubbed steak skewers with cumin aioli, and warm peach and cherry Napoleon with vanilla scented mascarpone.
Cost: $15 per person per class. Length of class: 90 - 120 minutes. ENROLLMENT THROUGH THE LIBRARY IS REQUIRED BY APRIL 19. Call 407-623-3300, ext. 3, to sign up and pay.
