Take Action for Libraries Day!

April 8 is Take Action for Library Day. Observed on the Thursday of National Library Week, it’s a chance for library advocates to share their support! How can you support the Library today and in the future? Read on to find out!

  • Discover your new favorite book

    • Browse the newest books added to our catalog via our website. Additionally, our librarians are able to provide book recommendations for readers of all ages. Either come into the Library or email us at info@wppl.org to find books that you’ll enjoy!

  • Attend a virtual class

    • Did you know the Winter Park Library presented 2,972 virtual adult classes and events in the second half of 2020? We’re continuing to provide a variety of classes for all ages, many available virtually. Check out our online events calendar to enroll in a class today:  https://www.wppl.org/events/month

  • Pick up a craft kit to enjoy with your family

  • Spread word about the essential role the library plays in Winter Park

    • Tell a friend what you love about the Library! Or share what you love about the resources and services available at the Library on social media by using the hashtag #MyLibraryIs by Saturday, April 10 at noon CT for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card from the American Library Association.
