From Knowing to Remembering
Professor Trent Tomengo, Seminole State College Professor of Humanities, discusses the emancipation of Black people in America using visual art, literature and music created by Black people. He will also address the lasting impression these varied media leave on our collective memory, and why remembering is vital to the quality of our lives.
