Girls Who Code offers a free and fun, project-based curriculum covering topics like artificial intelligence, graphics, game design, cryptography and mobile development. Clubs are led by a mix of tech industry professionals, computer science teachers, and college students, all trained in Girls Who code’s innovative curriculum and philosophy. The Girls Who Code curriculum has learning objectives which include identifying basic programming concepts such as variables, loops, conditionals and lists. These lessons are learned through using Python, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

WPPL's Girls Who Code is a locally-based affiliate of the national non-profit organization Girls Who Code, which seeks to inspire, educate and equip girls with the computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities.

Registration is required and space is limited to 10 participants. Four laptops will be made available, but participants should bring their own laptop if they have one. Snacks will be provided

This course runs Thursdays, January 12 - May 25 (except March 23) from 6-8 p.m.
