Program Description

Details

Ages 18+. This interactive lab consists of 4 hands-on classes where students design and develop interactive games from pong to Angry Birds. No prior programming or game design is necessary, and the only math involved will be adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. This will be a fun introduction to object-oriented programming in the Python language by developing common computer games. The participants will be coached on basic programming and game concepts throughout this hands-on interactive program.

This class is part of a series, and as such, you must attend prerequisite classes (if there are any). This is so we can maintain a cohesive and constructive experience for all attendees.

Part 1: Design simple drawing programs and see how to simplify a program
