The Winter Park Post

The Winter Park Post was published from 1915-1921. Although the collection of Winter Park Post newspapers span those years, it does not include every edition. This paper offered a close look at the local news. The initial editor and proprietor of the paper was F. Ellison Adams, and the slogan the newspaper read: “In The Name of Winter Park.”

These papers are in PDF format. PDF stands for portable document format. PDF preserves the original look of the document almost exactly: fonts, photos, graphics and layout all appear as they do in the original.

After selecting a particular edition of the paper, you will have the ability to:

Zoom in: Simply click on the sign at the top of the page. This will provide a closer look at the newspaper and make reading much easier.

Search: You can search the text for specific terms. Simply click on the binoculars icon on the toolbar. This will open up a search box on the right of the screen. If your term is found within the text, it will be highlighted in black within the text of the paper. The search area will also display how many times the term appears in the paper and a list of results will be provided that you can select to investigate further.
