Artist Statement

Perhaps paintings serve as reminders of the amazing, mysterious and beautiful, the real and the imagined, and the need to explore creatively. Rothko once said, “Art is an adventure into the unknown world which can be explored only by those willing to take risks.” I believe he refers to the artist and viewer alike.
