Recently at the library, the idea of expanding the Winter Park History & Archives Collection to include a registry for Winter Park artists was formulated. Although still in the early stages of development, we want to present this fledgling registry online. The goal of the Artists’ Registry is to collect and preserve information about our talented local artists and to share the information that they provide.

The pertinent information that we hope to collect from each artist includes: an artist’s statement, biographical information, a photograph of the artist, representative photographic images of their work, gallery catalogues and announcements, and any other publicity, reviews, or public relations materials that the artist would like to submit. Of course, it is up to the individual artist to determine the quantity of items they wish to submit and if images of their work will be available for online viewing.

The table below reveals the names of the artists already participating in the registry and the medium in which they work. Simply click on the artist’s name to link directly to their webpage.

Remember to check back soon to look for additions to our new Artists’ Registry!
