Seniors First of Winter Park

The Seniors First group enhances the quality of life for older adults by helping each member maintain independence and dignity through nutrition, home improvement and support programs.  Seniors First specializes in services for Seniors and their families by providing information on Elder Care, Housing & Care, Business Services, Social Services and Volunteer Programs which include but are not limited to Meals-On-Wheels, social opportunities, home repair, transportation for shopping and field trips.

The members of Winter Park Seniors First who meet at the Winter Park Community Center weekday mornings, visit the Winter Park Public Library on a regular basis.  While at The Library they enjoy programs that include crafts, music, games, refreshments and are assisted with selecting and checking out Library materials.

On September 23, 2003, the members brought something personal to share with the group.  Some of the items were handmade, some were not.  But each item was special to the person sharing it and each person told an interesting story or recollection about the item.  These pages include photographs taken at this event and previous events held at The Library.

This is an on-going project.  Information and images will be added as they become available.
