One of the all-time great hurricanes, Donna crossed the Florida Peninsula on September 11, 1960. Florida reported 128 mph sustained winds with gusts to 150 mph. She roared through Winter Park leaving downed trees, loss of power, debris, and flooding.
The nine photographs below, shown in their original size (3.5 x 3.5 inches), were taken by an unknown Winter Park resident most likely the day after Donna struck.
