T is for Trees. When the early settlers first arrived, Winter Park was sandy and bare, with only a few tall pine trees in the town. Before long, people started planting trees everywhere! They wanted to make Winter Park more beautiful. They also wanted to create lots of shady spots for the those hot summer months.
