Bead Writing

"Write" names and messages by stringing beads on a bendable wire.  Take them home and hang finished pieces in a window, string on a necklace or around a hat.  Or you could pin to a bulletin board or display on a piece of matboard as a piece of art...the possibilities are endless.

A cross between ject to teach a mathematical principle~forming a rounded shape called a Bézier curve from straight lines.  But it's so funka-delically awesome that you don't have to be a geometry whiz to dig it!

Come and experiment in this most awesome demonstration of liquids and solids.  This homemade "Flubber" will amaze and delight you as you witness your creation transform from a liquid to a solid and back again from a solid to a liquid.  Absolutely too cool to miss!

Block Printing
 Thursday, December 2
6:30 - 8:00 p.m., 2nd floor Conference Room

Come for a new twist on an age old art form.  Make a card, picture or paper print using simple materials and your imagination.  No sharp tools will be used in this activity.
