Have you ever wondered how much your Winter Park Public Library card is worth to your family?  What if you didn't have the Library and had to buy or rent the equivalent goods and services in the local community?  Last year, Winter Park Library patrons had over 531,000 checkouts with an estimated "value" of more than $6.1 million.  That's a lot of savings from an organization with a budget of less than half that amount.

The calculator worksheet has been adapted from the downloadable spreadsheet, originally provided by the Massachusetts Library Association and then adapted for the Web by Chelmsford Public Library. Maine State Library added extra accessibility coding and reformatting for ease of reading online.
