       EBSCOhost and Infotrac Onefile  - Access from the Library or at home using your library card number at www.wppl.org.  Search for
       full-text articles in these online databases using your choice of keywords. You can limit the search to a certain year or even a certain

Hurricane Preparedness: This site, from the government’s National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration (NOAA), focuses on how to save lives through preparation and action.  Covers the hazards of high winds, storm surges, floods, tornadoes.    

      
Hurricanes: A heckuva website from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency), preparation guide,
Before a Hurricane,” “During an Evacuation,”During a Hurricane” and ‘After a Hurricane” as well as other helpful categories.  
       

Hurricanes – Health and Safety: From the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), this site features two main categories: “Hurricane Readiness” and Hurricane Recovery.”  Both categories provide detailed, yet easy to  
follow instructions covering many contingencies.   
      
Orlando Weather: Current weather conditions and a link to up-to-date hurricane info from WESH.                                        
     

Storm 2007: Up-to-the-minute tropical storm and hurricane information and related news from the Palm Beach
