Dorsey, who lives in Tampa, is well known for his series of Florida crime capers written in a style reminiscent of Dave Barry or Carl Hiaasen. His 13th novel, Electric Barracuda, will be released in January 2011 and will again feature the Serge Storms character, who is a both a serial killer and scholar-aficionado of all things Floridian.

The Library is located at 460 E. New England Ave., and Interlachen Country Club is at 2245 Interlachen Court, both in Winter Park.

Founded December 9, 1885, the Winter Park Public Library is celebrating 125 years of service to its community.  Originally consisting of a few dozen books housed on the front porch of an early city resident, the Library is now home to around 200,000 items including books, movies, audiobooks, music, videogames, software, newspapers and magazines. It also provides high-tech, Internet-based resources and educational programs for everyone from infants to retirees.
